"Nothing out of place, sir," one of the guards concludes after the search.  "Yes, yes... very well," Roderick says.  "I believe we can escort our queen back to her chambers."  Janis, her ruse still undetected, snarls at Roderick.

The guards take Janis by her arms and lead her back through the castle's halls, with Roderick following behind.  "I'm disappointed in you, Janis," he says.  "You're getting sloppy.  And slow.  And at such a young age, too.  Such a shame."  Janis, as can be expected, shows disdain on her face.

Back at Janis's chambers, the guards shove her through the door.  "Now, try and get some sleep, your highness," Roderick calls out from the hallway.  The door slams shut and is locked.  Janis, confident that they aren't watching her anymore, unfolds the wadded-up cloak still in her hands, pulling the potion out from it.  "Idiots," she thinks to herself as she tosses the cloak to the side.
