In my not-particularly-well-defined home, I stand before a sink, watching as water fills up a small, cubical, glass aquarium. I say, "Well. That'll teach me not to get fancy with page layouts."

As I carry the now-filled aquarium somewhere, I continue: "Fortunately, after the next chapter's intro pages, I should be able to go back to my usual page templates for a while." As an aside in smaller text, I add: "...and looking at the 6-panel template, I have no idea why the horizontal gap is smaller than the 4-panel one."

Now at my desk, I set the aquarium down. At the desk is my sketchbook, my usual mechanical pencil, and a small plastic toy boat. "So next up is putting Chapter Ten together. I think I've got a good framework and broad plot elements ready, but the whole thing as a complete story isn't quite there yet."

With the aquarium in place, I now hold the plastic boat in my hand. "Though, it's one of those ideas I've had percolating for a long time, so I'm looking forward to at least getting it out into existence for you. Should be good."

At this, I toss the boat into the auqarium. It floats.

Holding my sketchbook and starting to draw in it, I conclude with "Oh, and it involves the sea, by the way. Just to be clear."
