A physical magic lock would be a magic lock or seal with some kind of physical component to it. That is, you can see it and touch it, but that still probably won't help you open it. This is as opposed to a nonphysical, or "pure" magic lock, which is typically invisible to the naked eye and far more useful for irritating the crap out of people who don't know it's there.
