While it IS true that the first major use of the Theatre Orb is the huge splash that signals the end of the Explorer's scene (and precedes the Traveler's scene), Barry also keeps track of a few minor effects that happen in the background beforehand, such as minor water splashes outside the windows of Castle Arabaz. It can be slightly distracting.
