A montage shows a flurry of activity by the hooded figure. Many potion-creating actions take place, including mixing liquids, measuring powders, comparing bags, checking results, and reading notes. The concoction, a greyish liquid in a flask, and yes it is intended to be greyish even though the artist's coloring style regarding glass objects places an unfortunate cyan color on everything, apparently meets to the figure's approval. The flask is corked, finishing the job. The figure then carefully feeds the notes into the glowing embers of the fire pit, destroying them in flames.

Looking around, the hooded figure finds the small table by the door mentioned in the previous comic. Among other odds and ends, including a small red book, a candle, an opaque bottle, and a round container with a nozzle, this table also contains a folded length of cloth. The figure places the flask on this cloth.

All of these operations are conducted in relative silence.
